Tonight's Premiership preview

Jonk's recent fine form has kickstarted Wednesday's revival

Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Wilson is ready to name an unchanged side for tonight's clash with Nottingham Forest - a fixture that already looks like a relegation dog-fight.

Dave Bassett: We can win this game (BBC Radio 5 Live)
Wednesday are now 15th in the table and are only four points above the relegation zone while Forest, who looked so good in winning the First Division title last season, have struggled since promotion and are second from bottom.

But Wednesday can at least point to a decent run of form, which has seen them take five points from their last three games - including a 3-1 defeat of Manchester United and a 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

So Wilson is unlikely to be tempted to shuffle his team, which Dutch midfielder Wim Jonk has helped rejuvenate in recent weeks.

Matt Clarke will again take the goalkeeper's jersey as Kevin Pressman aggravated a thigh muscle in the reserves and will be out until the new year.

Jonk's errant compatriot Pierre van Hooijdonk will lead the Forest line alongside Dougie Freedman in a partnership that has banked three goals from the three games it has started.

But Dave Bassett's men will be without former England winger Steve Stone, who is suspended after being sent off for the first time in his career against Spurs last month.

Alan Rogers is available again for the visitors after suspension while Andy Johnson could start his first game for two months since undergoing surgery on a hernia problem.
