The model said to be expecting rock veteran Mick Jagger's baby has arrived in London on a plane named after one of the Rolling Stones' most famous songs - Ruby Tuesday.

Brazillian Luciana Morad, 28, flew into Heathrow Airport after lying low since reports that she was pregnant by the Rolling Stones singer after an eight-month affair.

Jagger's wife, Jerry Hall, is reportedly filing for divorce over the affair.

Ms Morad refused to discuss her reasons for returning to London, but it is thought to have been for work purposes.

Compere Jeremy Beadle said: "It was genuinely their idea. The two princesses wanted to help their mother, which I think is fabulous."

American director Gus Van Sant's remake of Hitchcock's Psycho has slashed its way into the US box office charts at number two on its opening weekend.

Disney's computer-animated A Bug's Life remained in first place, but Psycho is good news for Universal, which has seen poor showings for Babe: Pig In The City and Brad Pitt's latest, Meet Joe Black.

Van Sant's decision not to allow press screenings of Psycho - starring Vince Vaughn and Anne Heche - had fuelled fears that it was not up to scratch.

Sharon Stone: Helped get Jacob's Hands onto the screen
A long-forgotten work co-written by two of the century's leading novelists - Christopher Isherwood and Aldous Huxley - is heading for the big screen.

Jacob's Hands, a manuscript the British pair wrote while in Hollywood, depicts a 1920s love triangle.

Sharon Stone heard about its existence and contacted Huxley's widow for the rights. But, after reading it, she decided it was not for her, so Melissa Joan Hart will produce and star in it.

Porridge pair planning bank robbery film

British comedy-writing duo Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais are to write the script for a film based on a real-life botched London bank robbery.

The pair behind hit comedies such as Porridge and The Likely Lads have uncovered previously unknown details about the 1971 robbery, which involved rival groups of gangsters.

"Nobody was ever caught although everybody seemed to know who they were. Two have since been killed and two are still alive somewhere," Clement said.
