Thailand celebrates Asian Games' victories


China has taken its first gold medals at the Asian Games in Bangkok.

In the swimming events, Shan Ying won the women's 100-metre freestyle, while Zeng Qiling secured victory in the men's 100-metre breaststroke event.

There was a Chinese win too in the women's weightlifting.

Meanwhile, the hosts have been celebrating their first gold medals.

A Thai cyclist won the men's Mountain Bike downhill race, while the Thai women's air rifle team secured gold with a record score.
