Kurds arrested for protesting arrests
Turkish police have arrested more than one hundred members of the country's main Kurdish party after they announced a hunger strike to protest against earlier arrests.
Thousands of members of the People's Democracy Party HADEP have been arrested in Turkey since rebel Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan was detained in Italy.
Most have since been released, but about three hundred have been charged with involvement in separatist propaganda.
