Man dies in nightclub fall
Police car
Police are investigating the man's fall
Police are investigating how a young man died after falling from a roof during a night out in Nottingham City Centre.

It is thought Alistair Hood died after he tried to jump the queue for The Bomb nightclub by climbing over a roof.

The 23-year-old from Radcliffe-on-Trent fell from the roof in Byard Lane at about 0130 BST on Saturday.

Nottinghamshire police want to talk to two witnesses who saw a man climbing a wall shortly before the accident.

A member of the public found Mr Hood lying on the pavement and passers-by administered first aid.

But he was later pronounced dead.
