Teenager found injured on motorway
The M25
The youth was found between M25 junctions 24 and 25
A teenager has been found with serious injuries on the hard shoulder of the M25 in Hertfordshire.

Police say the male youth, who is believed to be aged between 13 and 19, was found between junctions 24 and 25 westbound at about 0400 BST on Monday.

He has been taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as life threatening.

The identity of the youth is not known at this stage or how he became injured.

Witness appeal

He is described as Mediterranean in appearance, 5ft 6ins tall with green eyes and is believed to be a foreign national.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been driving along the stretch of the M25 at the time.

In particular they are appealing for a lorry driver to come forward who was seen stopping on the hard shoulder at about 0400 BST.

The driver approached the injured teenager, but then drove off.

They are also trying to trace another lorry which was seen in the area at the time that had French number plates.
