'Abduction attempt' at car boot sale
Police tape
Two men have been bailed
Police are investigating what is thought to be an attempt to abduct a nine-year-old girl in Leeds.

It happened at a car boot sale on Sunday at Pontefract Lane in Cross Green.

The girl was sitting alone in her family's car while her parents went to visit a stall.

She noticed the car's boot was open and got out of the car to close it.

Walked away

As she was going to get back into the car, she was approached by two men who spoke to her.

Police say one of the men slammed the car door so she could not get back into the car.

When the girl cried out, the men walked away into the car boot sale.

They were followed by members of the public who contacted security staff.

Two men have been interviewed by police and have been released on police bail.
