NZ burglars break ministry's defences
One of the supposedly most secure buildings in New Zealand, the Defence Ministry headquarters in the capital, Wellington, has been burgled.
Several offices, including that of the army chief of staff Brigadier Jerry Mateparae were ransacked. Most people entering the building have to pass through strict security checks. Military and civilian police investigating the burglary have one major clue - unguarded maintenance scaffolding leading to the fourth floor window through which the intruder entered.
