Arrests follow attack
Five men are being questioned by police after a man was attacked in County Down.

The victim remains critically ill with a head injury following the assault in Banbridge in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The attack took place in Newry Street in the town.

Police officers, who were trying to keep rival groups apart, found the injured man.

Police have called on anyone with information on the assault to contact them.
