Man faces disorder charges
A 34-year-old man is due to appear in court in Belfast to face charges of affray and escaping police custody.

The charges relate to an incident on the Falls Road in west Belfast earlier this month when police officers were attacked as they tried to arrest a man.

The officers came under attack by a crowd of people on the road on 8 September.

The accused will appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Saturday.
