$40 million robbery suspect held

A man suspected of being a leader of one of the biggest robberies in recent years has been arrested in Florida.

The Italian Domenico Silano was arrested in Miami on Friday after a tip-off from Swiss investigators.

He is wanted in connection with the forty-million-dollar robbery of a Zurich post office last year.

Extradition papers are being prepared.

Swiss, Italian and Spanish authorities have already arrested eighteen other suspected members of the gang.
