Boudicca play finds new stage
Suffolk College has come to the rescue of a play which was threatened with cancellation.

Eastern Angles were due to perform their production of Boudicca's Babes at the old Cranfields Mill on the Ipswich Waterfront - but they were told at the last minute the building was not safe.

Suffolk College has now offered the theatre company the use of its hall to stage the production in October.

The College's principal, Professor Dave Muller said the college was only too ready to help.

"The hall is used quite a lot for plays, but we also have a performing arts department so in a sense we have a culture of performing arts," he said.

"Colleagues now are working with the Eastern Angles to make it possible."
