Detective arrested over child porn

A detective who worked on the inquiry into the death of an Essex teenager has been arrested on suspicion of using child pornography websites.

Detective Constable Chris Lacey, from Colchester, was one of six men arrested in Essex on Thursday following information provided by United States authorities.

All six were released on police bail until March next year.

The officer worked on the investigation into the disappearance of 15-year-old Danielle Jones from Tilbury last June.

Danielle's body has never been found.

Her uncle Stuart Campbell is to go on trial next week for her murder.
