Taxi driver was shot dead as he waited to pick up a fare
Two men questioned by police in Dungannon on Thursday about the murder of a County Tyrone taxi driver have been released without charge.

Barney McDonald, 51, was shot by two gunmen who lay in wait for him at a snooker hall in Donaghmore on 17 April.

He had stopped there to pick up a fare.

The gunmen fired four shotgun blasts into Mr McDonald's taxi as he sat in the car outside the club on Annaghbeg Park.

He died at the scene.
