A court in the United States has found the mayor of the Ugandan capital, Kampala, guilty on charges of fraud.
The mayor, Nasser Sebaggala, was arrested in New York in June as he was about to leave the country.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charges which involved trying to deposit fake cheques worth about two-hundred-thousand dollars in a bank.
