Saturday, December 5, 1998 Published at 00:11 GMT World: Americas Iranian detained in Argentina The Argentine Supreme Court has charged an Iranian woman in connection with the 1992 bomb attack on the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, which killed twenty-nine people. Nahrim Mokhtari was arrested at the city's international airport when she disembarked from a flight from Paris, on her way to Uruguay. Police say she is the former partner of a Brazilian man, Wilson dos Santos, who was detained in Brazil last month. He's believed to have critical information about the bombing in 1994 of a Jewish cultural centre in the Argentine capital, which left eighty-six people dead. Argentina is seeking his extradition.
