In Morocco, the British tycoon Richard Branson and his former rival, Steve Fossett, have postponed a joint attempt to fly non-stop around the world by balloon until next week, because of bad weather.

They had planned to take off from an air-base outside Marrakesh.

Previous individual attempts by both men ended in failure.
