Houses hit by serial firebomber
Michael Douglas's home has been attacked twice
Residents of a row of houses in Birmingham are being terrorised with firebombs.
The terraced homes in the Winson Green area have been attacked four times in the past month. In the most recent attack, on Monday night, an elderly couple escaped unharmed when a firebomb was thrown through their bedroom window. Police have no idea why the houses have been targeted, but residents believe it may be a case of mistaken identity.
Detective chief Inspector Malcolm Coall, from West Midlands police, said: "Clearly an incident of this nature is very serious and we need to catch this person as quickly as possible. "We haven't been able to establish why these premises are being targeted. "We don't know the motive. We are exploring all possibilities." No-one has been injured in the attacks.
