The British clothing industry is planning to use new computer technology to help customers find the right clothes without having to try them on.
A report in the British newspaper the Financial Times says a new machine -- a body scanner -- will be installed in stores nationwide to remove the greatest frustration of shopping: the frequent mismatch bewteen the customers' bodies and the clothes they try on.
The scanner will record the shape of the shoppers who will be able to see how they look in their virtual clothes.
The machine is said to be the biggest revolution in clothes shopping in a generation.
