Thursday, December 3, 1998 Published at 17:32 GMT World: Africa Somali peace efforts Somali faction leaders are gathering in the capital, Mogadishu, to prepare for meetings with an international delegation to try to find new ways to bring peace to the country. The faction leader, Hussein Aideed, has returned to Mogadishu after four months in neighbouring countries where he's been trying to drum up financial support for the new joint administration in the city. Another faction leader, Osman Atto, has also arrived back in Mogadishu from Kenya. The international delegation is now in the north-east of the country after talks in the self-declared republic of Somaliland on Tuesday.
