Police in Paris say the president of Sierra Leone, Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, has reported the theft of a briefcase containing fifty-thousand dollars in cash from his hotel room during the Franco-African summit last week.

The police said the hotel room was not broken into and no arrests had been made.
