SPORT : English county cricket is to undergo the most radical shakeup of its one-hundred-and-nine year history.
Representatives of eighteen English counties have voted to adopt a two-division championship from the year 2000.
Each division will have nine counties, with three sides being promoted and relegated each year.
The aim is to make England cricketers -- currently struggling in the Ashes series against Australia -- more competitive at international level.
