Switzerland's newest airline has suspended flights from tomorrow Thursday pending a decision over whether to declare itself bankrupt.
Swiss World Airways has operated for just three months but has only managed to fill a quarter of its seats.
The airline has largely been funded by the state authorities in French-speaking Switzerland, who were angered by the decision of its rival, Swissair, to transfer most of its long haul flights from Geneva to German-speaking Zurich.
