The new Slovak government of Prime Minister Mikulas Dzurinda has received parliamentary approval for a programme aimed at revitalizing the economy and pursuing integration into the European Union and NATO.
The confidence vote followed five days of discussions on the plans, which also focus on protecting minority groups and human rights.
Mr Dzurinda, who's government was formed after the general election in September, said membership of the EU and NATO should ensure the future of the country.
