Levy offers to return to Cabinet

Israel's former foreign minister, David Levy, says he is ready to return to the Israeli cabinet, provided he gets the job of Finance Minister.

Mr Levy resigned from the government in January after accusing the Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu of moving too slowly on peace, and of failing to help low income groups.

Mr Levy said today that he had already been offered the post of National Construction Minister, but had turned it down.
