Haiti to get IMF loan after Hurricane George
The International Monetary Fund has approved a twenty one million dollar emergency loan for Haiti to help deal with the effects of Hurricane Georges.
More than 200 people died in Haiti and tens of thousands were left homeless after the hurricane crossed a number of Caribbean islands and parts of the United States in September of this year.
The IMF said most of the damage took place in rural areas, caused by floods and high winds.
