Monday, November 30, 1998 Published at 18:42 GMT UK Woman charged with baby's murder ![]() Police are not saying exactly where the baby was found A woman has been charged with the murder of her five-month-old daughter whose body was found in south London on Sunday. Elizabeth Bolarinwa, a 35-year-old trainee psychiatric nurse, will appear before Tower Bridge magistrates on Tuesday morning. She is charged with the murder of five-month-old Yanisola Odetola, whose body was found in the Walworth area of south-east London on Sunday. The search began on Saturday after the baby was reported missing.
After being released from hospital it is understood that the mother went shopping with the baby and her six-year-old son in nearby Tower Bridge Road. She returned to Guy's Hospital on Saturday morning and told staff the child was missing. A full air and land search was launched and Yanisola's body was discovered on Sunday. A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "A post mortem examination suggested the baby died of head injuries." Ms Bolarinwa, who lives on the Elim housing estate in Lambeth, is being held at Deptford police station pending her court appearance.
