Mexican judge dismisses latest corruption charge against Raul Salinas

A judge in Mexico has dropped the latest corruption charge brought last week against Raul Salinas, the detained brother of the former Mexican president, Carlos Salinas.

A lawyer for Raul Salinas welcomed the decision, and restated that his client was innocent of separate charges of murder and corruption.

Raul Salinas has been in a maximum security jail since 1995, accused of money-laundering and masterminding the killing of a top official in Mexico's governing party
