Kinshasa musician dies

One of the best known singers on the Kinshasa music scene, Pepe Kalle, has died of a heart attack.

Pepe Kalle had performed for nearly twenty years along with his orchestra, Empire Bakuba, whose rhythms helped make popular throughout Africa the Congolese dance known as the "soukouss zairois".
