Congo-Brazzaville floods
The government of Congo-Brazzaville has appealed for urgent international aid following flooding in the north of the country.
The Health Minister, Mamaddou Camara Dekamo, said more than twenty-thousand people had been left homeless in the remote Likouala region, which is accessible only by boat.
