Mass cello concert

More than one-thousand cellists from around the world have played at a concert in Kobe, Japan, in what's believed to be the biggest gathering of its kind.

The event was held to raise funds for the continued rebuilding of the city, which was devastated by an earthquake in 1995.

Organizers said the cellists came from all over Japan, China, Germany, Ireland, Britain, Switzerland, the United States and Brazil.
