Colombian police have detained a twenty-five year old man from Bogota in connection with the killing last week of an agent from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.

The suspect, Mauricio Figueroa, was described by witnesses as the man who shot dead the DEA agent, Frank Moreno, outside a Bogota nightclub last Saturday evening.

He's reported to have surrendered to police accompanied by a lawyer.
