Clashes in Jerusalem


There were clashes in east Jerusalem and a number of other towns in the West Bank as Palestinians demonstrated in support of demands for the release of prisoners in Israeli jails.

Israeli police fired rubber-coated bullets to disperse rock-throwing demonstrators in Jerusalem.

Several people were injured.
