Ten-man Leicester hold Coventry ![]() Heskey scored Leicester's only goal Coventry 1-1 Leicester Emile Heskey returned from injury to snatch a point for Leicester.
But Leicester, who played most of the second half with 10 men after Frank Sinclair was sent off, avoided a third defeat in a row with two minutes left. Heskey, still hindered by a back problem, turned the ball into the net after Muzzy Izzet met Steve Guppy's cross. After the game, Leicester manager Martin O'Neill said he hoped Sinclair's red card - given for two bookable offences - would be overturned.
"The sending-off looked harsh and Frank said he got a touch on the ball in the incident which led to the second booking," added O'Neill. "I was relieved to get that late goal but the players never gave up. When Coventry scored we were open to the counter-attack but we went about things in a positive way. "It was a tremendous game for entertainment." Coventry had looked the more purposeful side with captain Gary McAllister dominating midfield. Matt Elliott and Steve Walsh enjoyed fine games at the heart of Leicester's defence but they could do little about Huckerby's shot which hit the crossbar. At the other end Elliott had a goal ruled out for pushing as the game hotted up. Kasey Keller denied Huckerby but the striker finally found the net with a close-range header after Trond Soltvedt flicked on a left-wing cross.
