The 42-year-old mother-of-four has approached Anthony Julius, the lawyer who handled Diana, Princess of Wales's divorce, for advice, according to several UK newspapers.
Hall reportedly called the 55-year-old Rolling Stone a "lying, cheating, no-good, slimeball" and told friends that the pregnancy was the final straw. Jagger is said to be "inconsolable" at the thought of a permanent split and is said to have has counselled friends for advice. Their 17-year marriage has been plagued by allegations of womanising by Jagger with several film stars and models. His alleged "infatuation" with Italian model Carla Bruni, whose apartment he was photographed leaving last week, is said to have put their relationship under particular strain. Divorce settlement If a divorce goes through, Hall stands to gain half of Jagger's estimated £140m fortune.
The couple also own walls of priceless paintings that include Andy Warhol's, and a portfolio of stocks and shares. Jagger has had four children with Ms Hall. The eldest, 14-year-old Elizabeth, and her modelling aspirations has reportedly been a source of another row between the feuding couple. |
