Police acquitted of Rio killings
A Brazilian judge has acquitted ten police officers of taking part in the killings five years ago of twenty-one people in a poor district of Rio de Janeiro.
The massacre was widely believed to have been an act of revenge by police after four of their colleagues were killed by drug dealers in the area.
Only two of the fifty-two officers originally charged have so far been convicted.
