Saturday, November 28, 1998 Published at 03:54 GMT World: Americas Bus crashes after passenger shoots driver Two people were killed when a bus plunged off a bridge in the American city of Seattle, after a passenger reportedly shot the driver. The bus, with more than thirty people on board, careered across the road and crashed through a guard-rail before falling about fifteen metres onto an apartment block. Fifteen of the passengers were critically injured. The driver was thrown from the bus and killed. The other fatality is believed to be the passenger who shot him.
