Iran's equestrian team withdrawn from Asian Games

Horses belonging to Iran's equestrian team have apparently been banned from next month's Asian Games in Bangkok, because they haven't got the right health certificates.

The President of the Veterinary Commission for the games Siraya Chunekamrai said the Iranians had not been aware of the requirements.

She said it was a great pity for the team, because the Iranian horses were the most beautiful of all.
