The ethnic Albanian separatist movement in Kosovo, the Kosovo Liberation Army, has released two Serbian journalists it has been holding for more than a month.
The journalists Nebojsa Radosevic and Vladimir Dobricic were handed over to the head of the OSCE mission, William Walker, in the KLA stronghold of Dragobilje.
Mr Walker said the release was a small but significant gesture for confidence building between Serbia and ethnic Albanian rebels.
He said eight-hundred-and-seventy people were believed to be illegally detained by both sides in the Kosovo conflict, and that these detentions were threatening the unstable ceasefire in the province.
