The parliament of Guinea Bissau has demanded the resignation of President Joao Vieira.
It said he had violated the constitution by calling in Senegalese and Guinean troops to help put down an army insurrection.
The motion was passed by sixty-nine votes to nil at the parliament's first session since the military uprising in June.
A peace agreement early this month provides for fresh elections early next year.
