Two more face Internet porn charges

Operation Cathedral was carried out in 12 countries

Another two men have been charged in connection with an international internet paedophile investigation.

It follows raids throughout Britain and 11 other countries on 2 September.

On Thursday a man from Maidenhead, Berkshire, was charged with the possession and distribution of indecent images of children, and possession of cannabis.

A man from Norwich was charged with conspiracy to distribute indecent images of children.

More then 40 people were arrested worldwide on 2 September by police investigating the alleged paedophile ring.

During the raids - codenamed Operation Cathedral - officers in the UK seized about 750,000 computer images of children, 200 computerised videos, and computer equipment.

Seven men were earlier charged by the National Crime Squad, which is coordinating the investigation in the UK.

Police say all the men's names, addresses and occupations will be released when they appear in court in January.

Eight of them will appear before magistrates at Hastings, East Sussex, on 7 January, and the ninth, from Maidenhead, will appear at Maidenhead magistrates' court on 12 January.
