Iranian police arrest suspects in political killing


Police in Iran say they have arrested a number of suspects in connectionn with the murder on Sunday of a prominent opposition leader, Dariush Foruhar and his wife, Parvaneh.

The two were found stabbed to death at their home in Tehran.

Mr Foruhar was an outspoken critic of the Islamic government and the deaths have been widely condemned.

Reports say the funerals of the couple will be heldlater today
