Egyptians servants drop allegations against Saudi prince

Egyptian servants who were working for a brother of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia have withdrawn allegations that they were imprisoned in a Cairo hotel.

An Egyptian investigator said the servants, who have now left their jobs, were not used to what he called the confined life that comes with working for a prince.

Police began investigations after two other servants employed by Prince Turki ibn Abd al-Aziz escaped from his suite, on the twenty-ninth floor, using a rope of knotted sheets.

One was seriously injured when he dropped onto a twenty-fourth floor balcony.

Reports say that their complaint still stands.
