Muslim militants executed in Egypt

Reports from Egypt say three Muslim militants have been executed after they were convicted of plotting killings in their bid to topple the government.

The three men, who were convicted earlier in the year, were executed on Sunday.

They were alleged to have recruited people to the banned militant Gama't al-Islamiya group.

The Egyptian authorities have accused Gama't al-Islamiya of terrorist acts.
