The heads of Moscow's four main customs departments are reported to have been dismissed, following an investigation into the illegal flight of Russian capital abroad.

The Russian Interfax news agency quotes the chairman of the State Customs Commitee as saying they could now prove where billions of dollars were going.

The agency said new officials were being brought in from other Russian regions.
