Baghdad demos protest against UN sanctions


Can follow IRAQ UN Small pro-government demonstrations were held in Baghdad in advance of the Security Council meeting.

The BBC correspondent in Iraq said a convoy of cars carrying child-sized coffins was intended to highlight the suffering of Iraqi children under UN sanctions.

About a third of Iraq's children are estimated to be malnourished.
