The World Bank has approved a two-hundred-million-dollar credit for Bangladesh following the devastating floods this year.

The bank said the money would help maintain economic stability, re-start agricultural and industrial activity and finance the import of building materials and grain stocks.

The move follows a slightly smaller emergency loan granted by the IMF last month.
