Reports say Spaniards seized in Chile

The Chilean security forces are investigating reports that two Spaniards have been seized in the north of the country ahead of the ruling in London on General Pinochet.

The Spaniards, a father and daughter, apparently sent e-mail messages to relatives living in Chile, saying they had been seized when they entered the country.

They said the kidnappers -- who are believed to be supporters of the General -- planned to hold them until the British law lords announced their decision.
