Mr Lee told the BBC that he'd initially been a little unhappy that Mr Anwar was arrested under Malaysia's Internal Security Act instead of the normal criminal code. He said he hoped Mr Anwar's trial would restore public confidence in the judicial system. Mr Anwar's trial on charges of sodomy and corruption resumed this week after a break during the Asia Pacific economic summit. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
