Colombian anti-terrosist team in Pakistan to stem Karachi violence

A group of anti-terrorist experts from Colombia has arrived in Pakistan to help in the fight against violence in the city of Karachi.

Eight hundred people have died there so far this year -victims of violence by armed ethnic, sectarian factions and organized crime gangs.

The head of the UN sponsored Colombian delegation, Dario Barbarina, told the BBC he believes the problems in Karachi can be resolved using methods already tried and tested in Colombia.
